Pauper is a Magic: The Gathering format where only common-rarity cards are legal. It's one of the most accessible and affordable competitive formats – you can build a top-tier deck for £20-50.
Whether you're new to Magic or a seasoned player looking for deep strategic gameplay without the price tag, Pauper is for you.
Season 1 Starts January 2026
Our first season kicks off in January 2026 with 10 fortnightly events, followed by a Top 8 Finals. Top performers qualify for early access to UK Pauper Nationals tickets and may earn byes at the national event.
